Chairman - Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland
I wish to pass on to you the congratulations and best wishes of the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland for the award presented to you on 24 May at the official presentations at Parliament House of Multicultural Award winners for 2006. This honour bestowed by the Government is indeed a great honour and one you can cherish for many years as it is, in reality, an honour bestowed by your peers, your colleagues and those who know of the work you so tirelessly do. We were particularly delighted to see you honoured for the work you have done and continue to do. Indeed, no award can truly measure the value of such work - that is for posterity and future generations. But the recent presentation was a loud and fitting acclamation of your endeavours and achievements. We wish you great success in your future endeavours for it is all of us who benefit from what you do. (1 June 2006)

CEO - Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland
On behalf of the thousands of children with cerebral palsy across the state, I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your generous donation and support for the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland. The $5000 you donated to the Kid's Services Funding Crisis Appeal is equivalent to almost 100 hours of therapy, such as physiotherapy, speech and occupational therapy and social work services. You leadership, passion and further commitment to this urgent appeal for funds by hosting a luncheon in August, will also assist the League to recover a shortfall of more than $200,000 this financial year, and for that I am grateful. Call Centre Consultant
A few weeks ago I was at a student leadership forum in Parliament House and was blown away by Sarina's presentation on how to achieve the seemingly impossible and how she has lived her life as a leader. I was so motivated by her speech that I set a goal to work for Sarina the moment I heard her mention she was recruiting. Since then I have been fortunate enough to commence work in the Sarina Russo Job Access call centre. This realisation that I can achieve my goals when I pursue them with all my strength has led me to organise a state-wide entrepreneurial competition to provide young people with an opportunity to get a start in life just like Sarina has given countless others. ACPET Conference
I heard Sarina speak at the ACPET conference last week in Cairns and just wanted to say what an inspirational speaker she is. It is so encouraging to hear someone who started their business with a passion for learning that was not lost along the way. I have just bought my own RTO and have just begun a new path in my career. I hope that I can be half as inspirational as Sarina is to my students and just as successful. Sarina gave me a copy of her book at the conference, which I read on the plane ride home, I just could not put the book down. Sarina has inspired me to visualise my direction and to never give up. What a woman, what an entrepreneur. Thank you Sarina for speaking at the ACPET conference, I am sure I am not the only person you touched at that conference and I am sure I will not be the last. Meet Me At The Top (Book)
It's not often you meet the author who wrote the book you're currently reading! Particularly if you reading a stream of books from the same genre. I came across SRJA initially 2 years ago preceeding my position with Defence, and was inspired by the pictures hanging on the walls with accompanying 'power' slogans. I thought this was cool. It was the attitude I always believed in and to have a large organisation have this threaded through it as a direction from the top was a confirmation from 'the professional' for me. I had the misfortune of finding myself through the revolving door again so I went back to SRJA (Oh! Defence was great) and saw the book. I asked if I could read it... 'Yes'. I grabbed it with enthusiasm. On the second day I asked to borrow the book over night. They added that Sarina Russo would be here in half an hour. Having read just 2 chapters, Sarina Russo walks in. I found this poignant and had to ask her to sign the book. What an opportunity! Miss Russo was kind enough to give the book to me. Well that was it for me. I read with enthusiasm. And I read it again. It was great to get the opportunity to have a real sense of the author and subject in this case. The thing that struck me with this one was the easy layout and natural tones. It touches the human side and it can be funny and witty. I haven't seen any book of the same genre do that. Thank you Sarina Russo for providing a calm and professional environment and resources to the 5%. This helps bridge the missing link between the job seeker and the employer. And thank you for sharing your story. (6 March 2007)

Meet Me At The Top (Book)
I loved the book. Thanks so much for sending it to me. I loved the fact Sarina happily confessed to all her sackings and confessed to thinking - I'm gorgeous - when looking at herself from her car in plate glass windows. As she says you really have to believe in yourself and to say stuff like that. There's no doubt she believes in herself. Millions of people would be simply too scared to say such things let alone put them to print. I found the book unexpectedly inspirational and endearing. (7 June 2006)

Meet Me At The Top (Book)
Sarina, my father gave me your book a couple of years ago to read. I thoroughly enjoyed it, at the time I was too caught up with work to really appreciate the book and the messages that you had in there. I have now gone down a different career path in Recruitment and yep I am reading your book again, appreciating the read even more the second time through and am more motivated today than what I was 3 years ago. I just wanted to thank you for putting your thoughts and experiences down on paper, so people like me are able to read it and get inspired by your work. I hope to meet you at the top, through hard work and a great amount of support from my family. I have set myself a goal of meeting with you one day to say... 'I made it too'. Thank you again Sarina. Meet Me At The Top (Book)
I recently found your book at the local recycling depot. It was the best $1 that I think I've ever spent. What an inspiration - powerful, practical and personal too. Well, your book and I are coming to Brisbane. It would be fantastic to thank you personally for an extraordinary book, that deserves to be passed on and read again and again. (7 December 2006)

Meet Me At The Top (Book)
I just wanted to say thanks so much for sharing your success with others, you are an inspiration. This is one of the most motivational books I have come across. You are just the sort of inspiration I need right now. I am currently taking a year out from my training career to travel the world, see how others live and more importantly to work on myself and assess what i truly want out of my life. I picked your book up in Katoomba, Blue Mountains and upon opening a page, I was instantly draw to your enthusiastic and positive tone. You have made me determined to continue with the next level of training qualifications and to develop and patent an invention I have. My nearest and dearest have warned me that it's a lot to risk financially to obtain and international Patent while they happily buy 2 lottery tickets a week and probably will do for the rest of their lives, 15 years of this would amount to the same sum! You have made me realise that by using the gifts that you have been given to make your mark on the world and helping others in the process is far more rewarding than anything that money can buy.
