The area of management will depend on the field of greatest interest. For example a person interested in hotel front office would have the skills to eventually move into work as a manager or duty manager with additional job experience.

    Deals with the skills and knowledge required to develop, manage and take responsibility for budgets within the workplace. Includes analyzing financial information and drafting a budget and the vital role of monitoring budget performance over time.

  • Law
    Looks at the methods of sourcing, presenting and communicating information required for business compliance. It also covers specific legal issues and responsibilities affecting the modern business.

  • Manage Projects
    This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to manage major projects as well as the underlying managerial concepts and practices that are required to develop and implement a range of planning initiatives.

  • Marketing
    Looks at the development, application and management of a range of marketing tools and activities and how these are successfully incorporated into a marketing plan.

  • Industry Placement
    Industry placement occurs within a range of venues to allow students to experience different aspects of industry.
