Host An Intern
Utilising either a bachelor or master student who possesses up to date business knowledge to undertake a company project at absolutely no cost to the organisation. This is a great way to complete projects that limited resources have prohibited while contributing to a student's professional growth and development.
Projects may fall in the following fields:
- Accounting & Finance
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Hospitality & Tourism
- Marketing
The Intern
After complying with rigorous eligibility criteria, successful students are put forward to a host organisation to undertake a project. This runs for a period of 10 weeks, with students spending 20 hours per week (unpaid) at the host organisation.
Students who opt to take up the internships are usually in their final trimester of studies and enrolled in one of the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Business
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Professional Accounting / MBA
- Master of Information Technology / MBA
- Master of International Tourism & Hospitality Management / MBA
JCU Brisbane also provides all our interns with full comprehensive insurance coverage during the entire term of the internship.
Program Structure
The program has three intakes a year to coincide with the commencement of each of our trimester in March, July and November.
